Getting LEED Certification

I would like to know more about getting qualified as a LEED specialist. This would be for my husband. He has been working for awhile now but doesn’t seem to be able to get ahead in the company he is working for. It’s a medium sized General Contracting business and I think he gets lost in the shuffle. I thought maybe if he could become an expert in an area like Energy and Environmental Design, more doors might open for him. I guess the most important thing to know is what does *he* need to know? How difficult is the exam and how much experience does he need?
