After completing medical assistant school and starting your highly rewarding career, it is not a challenge free job. Rather their are challenges that will arise during your career. Medical assistants often encounter patents that are upset. It is important to stay calm yourself and try to calm down the upset patient and hear why they are upset. Try to best accommodate their complaints. If the patient is upset about not having parking, try to get them a parking pass. If the patient is tired of waiting for a long time to see the doctor, try to schedule them for the doctor’s first appointment of the day. Being flexible and taking challenges head on help to make the career even more satisfying.
