They Really Want to Learn

I have been sewing for many years. In fact, my kids have likely not ever known a time when I wasn’t whipping something amazing out of my sewing machine. My older girls are now getting to the age where they really want to learn themselves. I had to wait until they were old enough to kind of self direct as I don’t have a lot of patience for handholding when it comes to this. I had them start with bean bags, which are simple to make. It’s just two squares joined together, turned and stuffed. They seemed to enjoy it and are ready to move onto something a bit more challenging.
