Kitchen Lights

The lights in my kitchen kept flickering and I knew it was something wrong with the wires. Rather then call a professional I though I could try investigating for bit. It just started and I don’t know what the cause could be. I never notice anything like before and I haven’t had any problems in the couple years I have been living here. I read some appliances plugged in may cause the problems but I haven’t installed anything new recently. When I turn on the microwave the lights dimmed but never this flickering before. I will eventually call a electrician to figure out why this is happening.
