Enjoying the Outcome of a Successful Lap Band Procedure

I was skeptical at first when a friend mentioned her desire to undergo a lap band surgery to address her health problem due to her being overweight. She decided to undergo a lap band surgery and I was quite doubtful on its safety and effectiveness. But later I realized that the procedure is not as risky as the other forms of surgeries I have in mind. I learned that although it is an invasive procedure, it does not cut the stomach but instead only a band is tied around the upper stomach. Now, my friend gradually loses weight and feeling better without any complication from the procedure.
