A new whole house water filter that is said to be quite good

Just a few days ago my friend called to say that he had installed a brand new whole house water filter system and that his children could sense the difference to the quality of their drinking water already. This is remarkable, because his home is in the country, on the outskirts of this city, and run-off from the nearby farms has leeched chemicals and fertilizer into the underground water supplies where he is forced to draw his household water. Now, he said, with the whole house filter system up and running, every tap in his home is running clean, fresh water. The health of his children is going to noticeably improve, he says. And his visitors (like me!) will be able to drink a glass of water at his home with confidence once again.
