Not too long ago, I was going to begin work on a construction project that we won a bid on. Because it involved people and those same people could get hurt, we had to have some kind of insurance so that the company wouldn’t be held liable if anything were to happen while we were on the job. I had no idea how to buy workers comp insurance or anything else like that, so i called my friend’s insurance agent to see if i could get some advice. He told me who I should talk to and we managed to get covered for the project.
