The reason I helped out my daughter

Last night after I got home from a yoga class my daughter came into the kitchen while I was making a late-night snack. She asked me if I’d be willing to pay for her guitar lesson on the next Wednesday. She said that she had taken her money that she would normally give her teacher and bought a nice Christmas gift from my wife. Considering the circumstances I told her I’d be more than happy to pay for her lesson and that she shouldn’t be hesitant to ask me this in the future. She seemed happy with my response in the kitchen.
