Hard Rock Music and the Counter Culture

For many years past, hard rock music was something associated with bad behavior and reckless abandon towards life and civil responsibility. Of course, that is total hogwash as listeners of hard rock music are just as apt to be model citizens and your local Willie Nelson fan club president.
In a way, listeners of hard rock music had to go somewhat counter culture. If you were in many of the professional fields, one just might keep their Megadeth CD under wraps at the office. Fortunately, hard rock music is no longer taboo in corporate America. You see, those same head pounding and stage diving fans of the 80’s are now the movers and shakers in the professional world. It’s nice when myths are proven false.
